It will be the aim of the Council to promote bilateral trade and
investment between Turkey and Canada and provide members with critical
information on business opportunities and strategies for success in the
Turkish market.
The objectives of the Corporation are:
- To promote and facilitate the flow of bilateral trade between Canada and Turkey;
- To raise awareness within Canada of the opportunities to do business with
Turkey either in the Turkish market or in the third country markets;
- To facilitate Turkish investment into Canada;
- To provide a resource center and a platform for information sharing dedicated to strengthening business relations between Turkey and Canada;
- To provide a business information hub for Canadian-Turkish business enterprises;
- To facilitate the transfer of Canadian capital, technology
and expertise to Turkey through the creation of long-term,
mutually beneficial strategic business alliances between
Canadian and Turkish companies; and
- To act as advocate for Canadian and Turkish business to all levels of governments concerning bilateral trade.
The Canadian Turkish Business Council (CTBC) has
become a great organization since its inception in
2002.
Membership in the CTBC gives members access to key
decision makers within the Turkish government and
business communities. Conversely, members also enjoy
the support of the Canadian government and
Institutions in their efforts to create business
opportunities.
CTBC is pleased to announce that the secretariat of
the Council now rests with the Atlantic Council of
Canada (ACC), enjoying the benefits of this
association's cross Canada network of high ranking
contacts and members.

considerable work undertaken by CTBC and confirm

Corporate membership is set at $500.00 per year for
companies with sales up to five million dollars and
not-for-profit organizations; $1,000.00 per year for
companies with sales over five million dollars and
government organizations.
