The Canadian Turkish Business Council, CTBC, is committed to proctecting the privacy and security of all personal and company information obtained through
this website, your dealings with CTBC, and other sources. Our policy is to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act which became effective on January 1, 2004.
CTBC may collect, use, disclose, share and retain certain information about you and your company for communication, planning, and management of the council`s services. Unless otherwise indicated, the type of information collected are identified in the membership application form. Sometimes, information is collected from CTBC activities and other affiliates and organizations which may possess the relavant information.
As a result of being a member or part of the Council`s database, your personal and company information may be made available to public visiting the website, using company search, or viewing the information posted on this site. Part of the information is used to communicate, register and inform members and/or public, or for administration purposes of CTBC. From time to time, CTBC may include a company information for promotion, news item, meetings, events, and publications which may include names, relevant company and phone numbers and photographs taken at various events.
CTBC reserves the right to publish any or all of the information available in their possession. However, the members and applicants for company database will be given right to access and provide/update their own information, right to inform CTBC to be delisted or taken off the relevant publications.
